Career Days and Job Events at Mines
Career Days at Mines are the largest career fairs in the Rocky Mountain region! Thousands of students attend these signature events held in both the fall and spring. The week surrounding Career Days encompasses a series of additional events and opportunities to connect with the exceptional student body at Mines. These activities include on-campus interviews, student organization events, Prep with Reps, and more! Career Days are a must for recruiters to connect with students, network with industry peers, and find the impressive talent they are looking to hire.

Employers will select one industry that best defines their company and attend the date that aligns; both dates are open to Mines students and alumni of all majors and degree levels. Career Days aim not only for job placement but also career exploration. Students are encouraged to engage with all employers, regardless of major or degree, to expand their networks and knowledge.

*EEE–focused companies may register for either day, as both days are open to these industries to accommodate employer demand.
**Government/Public Sector will select the best date that aligns with their organization, and are still only able to attend one of the two dates.

Additional Recruiting Options – Fall 2026
If your company is unable to attend the Fall 2026 Career Days in-person or we have met the booth allotment for your industry, we encourage you to consider the following alternative recruiting options. - Join the Interest List
- If space becomes available, we will contact employers on the interest list: Complete this form (Mines Fall 2026 Career Days – Interest List Form – Fill out form) to be added. Please note: Employers not on the interest list will not be considered if space opens.
- Purchase a Resume Drop
- No in-person attendance at the event; includes your company listed in event attendee marketing and rosters, a dedicated basket at the event for students to ‘drop’ their physical resumes, resumes collected and alphabetized, and resumes scanned and emailed after the event. *You will not be able to attend in-person.
- The cost is $250 and includes:
- Your company listed as a Career Days attendee on DiggerNet and Career Fair Plus
- Inclusion in rosters provided to student organizations and departments
- Employers will receive an email after the fair with resumes alphabetized and scanned
- This is an efficient way to maintain visibility and engage with students, even if not attending in person
- To purchase: complete the event registration form through DiggerNet and select ‘Resume Drop’ as your booth option
- Schedule an Info Table
- Regardless of Resume Drop or interest list status, you are welcome to schedule an information table on campus starting the week after Career Days. To request a table, please email careerdays@mines.edu
Prep with Reps
Fall 2026 Prep with Reps

Prep with Reps is an opportunity for company representatives to meet Mines students and assist with their professional development by offering individual resume reviews, interview tips, and professional development advice before Career Days.
Registration is opens in DiggerNet; companies must be registered and approved for Career Days in order to participate.
Prep with Reps Format
To support employer and student connections and develop student skill building, the event is arranged into various “zones” of skill building. Attending representatives will be placed in a zone upon arrival, and students can navigate freely through the zones. Zones to choose from can include resume, booth approach, and interviewing skills.
Additional Details
- Location: Prep with Reps is typically held in-person from 12PM-3PM in the Student Center Grand Ballrooms. Lunch will be provided for employers beginning at 11AM. More details to come.
- Cost: Registration for the event is $100 per company. Employers can have up to 3 representatives attend.
- Prep with Reps has limited capacity and employers are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. We will keep an interest list once the event is full.

Interviews and Information (Info) Sessions
HOW DO I SCHEDULE STUDENT INTERVIEWS AND/OR AN INFORMATION SESSION?
Currently, campus interviews and in-person information sessions can be scheduled through the Career Center in addition to virtual interviewing scheduling assistance and virtual information sessions. Requests around Career Days can be made through DiggerNet, by emailing careerdays@mines.edu, or by calling Jerry Mason at 303-273-3253. Requests later in the semester can be made through DiggerNet or by emailing Jerry Mason at jerry.mason@mines.edu.
Student Interviews:
- Interviews for the week of Career Days, “Next Day” interviews: We are offering services in-person. If you are interested in this option, you will be asked if you would like to reserve a table for interviewing on days following the Career Days on the Career Days registration. There is a cost for this service – see the Career Days FAQS for details.
- Interviewing options for Pre-Select or Room Only Interviewing are offered for later in the semester through DiggerNet.
Information Sessions:
Organizations can request information sessions through the Events section in DiggerNet. Info sessions can be held virtually or in-person. Virtual requirements include: organizations will need to use their own platforms, provide a link for students to join, and provide a flyer/poster for advertising.
